A shared table that fits your day.
Mahjong Club plays Taiwanese 16-tile mahjong with invited friends, one turn at a time. You can return when it is your move. This is an asynchronous table, so everyone does not have to stay connected for an uninterrupted live session.
The table uses the fixed December 2024 LRC rules. Agree on that version before inviting a group used to different house rules. The browser and iPhone app share the same account; the iOS app is awaiting publication.
Create a table and invite your friends.
- Sign in and open Online. Choose New Game to open the table setup.
- Give the game a name and select connected friends by name or @handle. To connect first, use Find a player and Add Friend. Invite Friends also lets you share an invitation with someone who is not connected yet.
- Choose Create table. Invited players sign in and accept their invitation; the host uses Start Game after the selected friends have accepted.
- Open the table from Online or Your Online Tables. Make your move, then return when the table needs you again.
- Name the table.
- Choose friends or share an invitation.
- Select a friend before creating the table.
Demonstration accounts show the actual table setup. No real invitations or player records are pictured.
Use the same account on each device.
Use the same Apple or Google sign-in associated with your account. A different account will not show the same profile and online tables. On a shared computer, protect your account and sign out when finished.
Online moves, invitations and shared account updates require internet access. For a game without an online opponent, use the separate local practice mode. A saved local practice game is not an online table.
Keep table points separate from your rating.
The game calculates each hand under its recorded LRC rules. Your table balance and settlement show the result of the hands; MRS is a separate estimate of playing strength. Teaching practice does not become a rated result.
